Creative partnerships can be powerful and life giving, but they can also be devastating because it can be hard to know who to trust. The truth is, far too many creative partnerships fail. This results in projects that never get finished as well as emotional and vocational collateral damage.
So much of this can be avoided if we start by asking the right questions and taking time to get the answers. All too often, people jump into partnerships only asking questions about talent, skill and synergy. You need to consider the deeper questions and address the bedrock issues and concerns: What do we need in order to choose our creative partnerships wisely? – Gospel Wisdom, Cultural Wisdom, and Relational Wisdom.
