Creative Freedom and the Christian Life
As artists and creatives, we want freedom. That freedom is found in the moment when things just seem to come together without a struggle. That flow state where your skills, your training and your imagination work together effortlessly. You aren’t distracted, distressed, or afraid. You are still alert and focused, yet free to create at the highest level of your ability.
This is the kind of freedom we all want in the creative process. We know it doesn’t come all the time, but once we have experienced it, we want to reproduce it. I want to suggest something you won’t hear at most art schools, or film schools.
