Pelsue vs Schaeffer: Why God Wanted Art All Over the Tabernacle
Over and over, in the book of Exodus, God is commissioning and commanding the art to be made.
God is the architect, directing his people to make the tabernacle beautiful.
The sheer amount of art, and the attention to detail are not accidental!
God in his great wisdom made sure this was recorded in the Bible. It was important. The craftsmanship, the style, and the elegance were meaningful. God cared about these beautiful accoutrements for worship. If it wasn’t important. It wouldn’t have been recorded. We cannot dismiss this. If it is in the text, it is meaningful.
