Here, Schaeffer describes basic music in the Bible, but misses the music in Creation and in Heaven.
Music was there in the beginning, and will be present in Heaven.
It is part of the fabric of creation, and we see it throughout God’s Word.
Voices, instruments, and musicians are a gift of God to lift our hearts and make life more wonderful.
Just as C.S. Lewis and J.R. Tolkien spoke of music being part of creation,
and the Hymn This is my Father’s World describes the music of the spheres,
there is a music that surrounds us and is part of the way God designed everything.
