Is Everyone an Artist?

Every now and then I hear this phrase, “Everyone is an artist.”
But something just isn’t right about this.

And I get they want to encourage people to be creative.
We should also encourage people to spend some time doing something creative.
That’s wonderful. But should we really call everyone an artist?
Maybe, we are opening a Pandora’s box that destroys the very thing we are trying to build up?
